Trip to Prague
I am in love with spontaneous ideas without long planning and our trip to Prague was just like that. We just decided to go, booked an apartment a that was it. We were there from Tuesday to Friday, so we had enough time to get to know the city at least a bit. I do not mean going through all the sights and worm our way through hundreds of tourists. Although it is important and we did it as well, but I think, that we should discover a city on our own. Simply walk the streets not knowing where to go, do not rush and perceive the characteristic atmosphere of a city.
On the first day we were more or less getting together after six hours on the train. We walked
through Wenceslas square and by the river Vltava, had a Starbucks, we were talking and enjoying the city.
Rada blúdim, prechádzam malými uličkami a hľadám zaujímavé miesta.
I like to wander, walk through small alleyways and find interesting places. And that's exactly what our trip was about - to discover as many "mysteries" of the city as it is possible in four days. Most of the time our legs hurt from walking, as we used subways just once, and GPS on phone became our best friend. Apart from roaming the city, on the second day we saw famous monuments in Prague such as Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock and we even saw the exchange of guards at the castle.
I fell in love with a part of the city called "Malá Strana", which means Small Side. As its name suggests, the squares are smaller, alleyways narrower and cafes cozier. We stayed there a while every day and enjoyed the incredibly pleasant vibe it has. You can also find there the Lennon Wall, which is definitely worth seeing. In the beginning of our trip we found a railing, underneath the Charles Bridge, where love locks are placed. Thus, on the last evening we placed there our own one. Now it will hopefully last, when its sealed this way.
Praha má svoje čaro. To musím priznať.
Prague has its charm. I have to admit that. And even though I've been there only for a few days, I know that I want to come back for sure.
LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH
